Organic functional materials received tremendous attention from scientific community because of their potential applications in diverse fields as outlined above, especially energy saving and conversion devices. The key to design for efficient materials for the respective applications is to understand their structure and property relationships. To this end in our group we design and synthesize innovative organic functional building blocks and study their structure-property relations and device parameters. The class of materials we develop:

1. Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) Emitters

2. Fluorescent organic emitters

3. Bipolar host materials for phosphorescent OLEDs

4. Narrowband emissive full-color emitters
